What to write to us about

We are glad to hear about

  • Corrections and factual errors. A wrong spec, a stale figure, a broken calculation. Send the page and what you think is wrong.
  • Feedback on a guide. Tell us what was unclear. Confusing explanations are bugs.
  • Sponsorship and partnership. Advertising, brand collaboration, and commercial enquiries.
  • Guest contributions. Pitch the topic and your relevant background before writing anything.
  • Product information. Manufacturers and brands are welcome to send documentation and specification updates.

What we cannot do

  • Design your system for you. We publish the sizing method, but we cannot take responsibility for an individual build.
  • Troubleshoot a live electrical problem. If something is smoking, hot, or tripping protection, stop and call a licensed electrician.
  • Diagnose a fault remotely. We cannot see your wiring, your connections, or your battery state.
  • Provide legal, financial, or professional engineering advice. We are not qualified to and we will not pretend otherwise.
  • Guarantee coverage. We cannot promise to write about a specific product on request.

Safety first, always

Working with batteries and mains voltage carries a genuine risk of fire, burns, electric shock, and serious injury. Battery banks can deliver enormous short circuit current even at low voltage.

If you are unsure about any part of an installation, hire a licensed electrician who is familiar with your local code. Nothing on Volt Brook, and nothing we send you by email, is a substitute for that.

Response times

We aim to reply within 24 to 48 hours on business days. Corrections usually get answered fastest because we want the page fixed. Partnership enquiries can take a little longer, since they need a proper look rather than a quick reply.
